What happens when local residents help put together the summer programme from over 130 submissions? You end up with a summer full of unexpected encounters and surprising evenings.
Over the past few months, the Olevodroom became, week after week, a place where you never knew exactly what to expect. Theatre, music, circus, performance art, dance and experimental art took turns on stage, each time bringing together a different audience.
It was precisely this unpredictable mix that made the Summer Stage so special. Well-known or unknown, small or large-scale, intimate or exuberant: every evening offered a delightful blend of styles, genres and atmospheres. The ultimate recipe for warm, surprising summer evenings in the heart of Leuven.
