It's summer in Marseille and the city's residents are slowly melting in the heat. Author Nicole, camgirl Ruby and actress Élise fantasise about a handsome neighbour and a different life. When the mood changes, the trio really reach boiling point. The men in the city – even the dead ones – don't give the women a moment's peace. What starts as a sultry comedy turns into a mix of blood, sweat and catharsis. Director and actress Noémie Merlant wrote the turbulent and sharp screenplay for this ultimate summer film together with Céline Sciamma (Portrait de la jeune fille en feu).
