Did you know that Leuven and the East Brabant region are not the only European Capitals of Culture for 2030? Every year, the European Union selects two or three cities as European Capitals of Culture. Its aim is to highlight Europe’s cultural richness and diversity.
Alongside LOV2030 – Leuven & Beyond, Larnaca in Cyprus and Nikšić in Montenegro will also hold the title in 2030. This shared recognition opens up opportunities for collaboration, exchange and joint projects in the run-up to 2030. We have therefore dubbed ourselves the Class of 2030.
