Where words fail, music steps in as a common language. It allows us to tell others about ourselves or, even better, to build a shared story that connects us. That is why WISPER is looking for musicians of all kinds and backgrounds to make music together.
The goal? To mix musicians with musicians! In this way, WISPER brings different languages, backgrounds, cultures and ages into contact with each other.
All instruments are welcome in this jam session: from saxophone to guitar to oud, derbouka and ukulele! Or perhaps you prefer to use your voice as an instrument.
Level is not important; both beginners and advanced players will find their place in the colourful orchestra. You start with improvisation or with input from the participants. Over time, you may even create your own song together!
This is a workshop organised as part of De Tiendaagse van de Geestelijke Gezondheid (Ten Days of Mental Health).
