DanceLOV: move, dance & connect – record attempt

What happens when you invite an entire city to dance? With DANCELOV, Dansvloer Leuven brings together dancers, dance schools, choreographers and dance enthusiasts in a unique dance video filmed at special locations around the city.
You can still sign up for DANCELOV and take part in one or more choreographies. Discover all the choreographers, styles and practical information, and sign up via the Dansvloer Leuven website.
The festive grand finale? On Sunday 23 August at 4 pm, we’re calling on as many Leuven residents as possible to come together and set the Belgian record for improvisational dancing in the Stadspark! The record attempt will last 15 minutes and take you on a musical journey, with dance guidance from Thias and Fien, dancers and teachers at DAMBA, the dance association for dancers with special needs.
Young or old, dancer or not: everyone can take part for free. This is set to be such a unique and magical moment that you simply won’t want to miss it. Bring your friends, family, neighbours and colleagues along and dance with Leuven to set the record. Join us!
